do not need to formally apply for a visit visa before travel
to the UAE. Nationalities not on the list need to apply for
a visa before travelling to the UAE and the visa is a boarding
requirement. The below details are valid as of Novemeber 2004.
European countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium,
Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland,
Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, the Netherlands,
Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland,
and the Vatican
US & Other Countries: US, Canada, Australia,
New Zealand, Japan, Brunei, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia
and Hong Kong.
AGCC Countries: Nationals and expatriate
residents of AGCC countries like Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman
and Saudi Arabia also do not require a visa in advance to
enter Dubai.
All of the above nationalities can simply arrive at Dubai
International airport are free to stay for one month.
General rule of application.
Applications are fairly simple, if people need a visa we
need about three weeks to apply ( this is just to be on the
safe side )
Well send through application form that can be sent out with
the general registration information.
We then would require a clear passport copy and a copy of
the application form.
We encounter very few problems with visas in the UAE, however
we do have to double check that passports that are submitted
for application have at least 6 months validity and that person
does not already have a valid visa for the UAE. Sounds silly
but it does happen quite a lot.
