Why Oman?

Let's go back to basics shall we? Remember those days when motivational travel used to be creative, fun, and when the philosophy behind incentive planning was to give the guest an experience that he or she could not buy for themselves? Where did that all go to?

Nowadays we are seeing more and more events in Dubai where tourist companies are being used because they are cheap - no other reason, and the guests are basically getting a package trip.

Well, call us old fashioned if you like, but we actively enjoyed the challenges that we were given by the good incentive houses in Europe, and if you read the Dubai section of our site, we still hold those old philosphies as necessary parts of our programmes - dare to be different!

Dubai was initially a destination that sent a frizzant of anticipation into the incentive traveller - it was new ground, it was unknown, and when they arrived they were always happily surprised, and they all experienced a 'soft Middle East'. When they got home they were the talk of the local Golf Club - quite literally as a lot of them had played on the only (then) green course in the Middle East. Ground Breaking stuff eh!!

Oman, and Muscat in particular should now be taking over in all of the discerning agencies for those clients who are looking for new and interesting destinations - and YES we know it's not easy to sell something different - the tried and tested destinations just fall off the page into the bank account - but where is the fun in that? On the way home from an event, where is the job satisfaction? Having a group of people who are totally amazed at the fact that their event outdid even their greatest expectations must give a warm happy feeling, and... bring them back to you for their next one.
