Themed Dinners

Each and every hotel has a private function area that we can theme up to the hilt, ranging from just basic colour themeing to over - the - top 'Winter Wonderland'

The restrictions are generally the client's imagination and their budget, but we have a lot of experience in this, and love a challenge - and strangely so do the F&B people in the hotels.

It is worth remembering that the 'standard' level of decoration on any buffet or BBQ set up would very probably surprise you as it is way above the bunch of flowers that you might find on a buffet in Europe. So let your imaginations run wild and here are a few that we have done in the past..

Seafood evening on the beach, but using boats as the buffet stations, or even having the fishermen deliver the fish during the cocktail reception - shells for presentation, ice carvings, and all the bbq'd items cooked to order from fish selected by the guests from the displays which are mountains of ice.

Any country you care to mention - or a combination of many (but please let's not call it four corners of the world because it is SO yesterday!!)

The mystery - no not a murder dinner - but different kinds of food, presented in a bit of an off the wall way. The guests are given quizz cards and they should fill in as much as possible whilst tasting along the way! This is probably not for the less adventurous, but we promise not a sheep's eye will be lurking under a lettuice leaf!

Skool Dinners - right down to the tin trays and of course they are asked to dress accordingly, this should be a surprise so they have to find something to dress up in during the day - or simply adapt what they have with them.

The Winter Wonderland - ideally this is done indoors, and involves a lot of ice carving, ultra violet light and about two tons of styrofoam balls - not the cleaner's favourite but a lot of fun!

Fun and Games.... EAch table is given a task, something to act out, or a song to sing - they have time to get themselves ready, we have a prop box and the rest is up to them - you would be amazed - we always are!
