Intercontinental hotels are predictably good worldwide, and this one is no exception, a very typical older Intercontinenal loads of marble, a geat pub and Trader Vics!

This is the perfect venue for a full on conference with single delegates. It is on the coastline but again does not have a private beach, but thee public beach is accesable.

The hotel covers a large area so there are possibilities for outside functions, but it's also within easy driving distance of the Al Bustan so if we wanted to go there for a dinner, and to let them say that they had 'been there' this is also very workable.

The conference space is very good and if we have larger numbers we can also use the Crowne Plaza for rooms.

Meeting Space at a glance

The main Ballroom Al Jabrin is 682m2, this splits down in to three smaller rooms of 129m2 / 129m2 and 87m2 respectivly

Second Smaller Ballroom Bahla Nizwa Room is 100m2 and splits in to two rooms of 50m2

They then have four smaller meeting rooms ranging from 18m2 to 120 m2

All in all the Intercon has some great meeting space and should not be overlooked

Notes

The Intercon is a lively hotel, it's been there for many years and has lot's of well known restaurants among them Trader Vics and the Best pub in town. Consequently it attracts lots of the local expats giving it a very homely feel.
