Please note that these are generic rates and may vary from venue to venue, for example the Burj would be much more.. the Emirates Golf Club less. These are extreeme examples, generally we look at 15% either way. Drinks packages where possible may be used but in general an on consumption basis is cheaper. Unlike some agencies here in Dubai these costs are passed on to you with zero mark up or handling fee's

Wines

Unfortunately the quality of wine in the UAE is not really that good, it's not that people don't try, it's down to the amount of travel that the wine has to go through to get here, and there is some truth to the stories telling of containers being left in the sun on the dockside. Don't let that put you off there are some good ones around.

Generally we find that people go with house wines rather than choosing from lists. These start at around Dhs 110 per bottle and go up to about Dhs 300..... remember though that the Dhs 100 bottle is what you would get in the UK for about £2.50... such is life, like anything else we just have to work around it.
